Article: Where Pearls Tell Stories

Where Pearls Tell Stories
For many years, I worked as a flight attendant for Lufthansa, which gave me the opportunity to experience different countries, cultures, and traditions. Wherever I traveled, I searched for special pearls in hidden boutiques, lively markets, and small workshops.
Each pearl felt like more than a beautiful object. It carried the colors, craftsmanship, and character of the place it came from. Each one has its own origin and its own story.
Today, one of my favorite places to discover new treasures is my friend Taimani’s shop in Freiburg. There, a large bowl filled with pearls invites me to run my hands through them. In that moment, I feel as though I am traveling again, surrounded by memories of distant places, unique cultures, and unforgettable encounters.
These carefully selected pearls become the heart of my jewelry. Every piece is designed individually, combining materials and stories from around the world.
To me, jewelry is more than an accessory. It is a memory, a connection, and a small piece of the world that can be carried with you.
Every pearl tells a story. Together, they tell mine.
